At El Navarrico, we believe the magic of cooking lies in the small details — in those dishes that, with simple yet carefully chosen ingredients, comfort us and transport us back to familiar, timeless flavors. Because authenticity needs no embellishment, just quality ingredients and respect for tradition.
Every jar that leaves our hands carries a piece of history and love for our land. Natural ingredients, lovingly selected, that turn the everyday into something special. Just like our legumes — the stars of our cuisine and the foundation of recipes passed down through generations.
Today, we bring you a dish that perfectly reflects our philosophy: Chickpeas with tuna belly and vegetable fritada.
A simple stew, yet full of depth, where the bold flavor of El Navarrico’s vegetable fritada blends with the creaminess of chickpeas and the richness of preserved tuna belly. It’s all brought together with a touch of fish fumet to enhance the flavors and just the right amount of pickled guindilla peppers, which add a perfect balance of acidity and freshness.
An easy recipe to prepare, with spectacular results — perfect for those days when you want to eat well without the fuss.
