We are a family business that has been preserving the best of our land for over 6 decades: our agricultural traditions, the passion for our Navarra, the love for detail, an unwavering commitment to the future, and to go far beyond our borders, and of course, our vegetables.

More than 6 decades preserving the best of our land
The story of Conservas el Navarrico begins with the dream of a couple, José Salcedo from Tudela and Amalia Herce from Peralta. A dream made of effort, courage, and respect for tradition. In 1960, José and Amalia opened a small and modest workshop in the lower part of their family home located in San Adrián, where they manually bottled asparagus and piquillo peppers. Thus, José Salcedo Soria S.L. was born.

In the 1980s, the brand "El Navarrico" was born, inheriting the original values as well as the passion for the world of canning and traditional Navarrese techniques. "El Navarrico" manages to merge Navarrese culinary heritage with a vocation for innovation that allows it to adapt to market demands. What began as a dream in the lower part of a family home is now a company that is growing nationwide.

THE OLD FACTORY:

A museum to preserve history

This is our tribute to the history of an entire industry, that of canning. Thanks to the collaboration, passion, and memories of the inhabitants of San Adrián, this museum has managed to tell the story of the canning tradition in first person.

The aim of the exhibition is for each visitor to recognize the work of those who, once upon a time, unknowingly, bet that San Adrián would be what we know today.
