There are experiences that allow you to understand a product in a completely different way. That is exactly what we experienced during “Flavours with History”, a very special event organised together with Fundación Osasuna and the Club de Empresas.
An encounter designed to bring companies and professionals closer to the origins of one of the sectors that best represents Navarre’s identity: the agri-food sector. Much more than a visit, it was an opportunity to discover from the inside the work, care and tradition behind every preserve.
Through the visit to our Museum of Preserves, the tour around the natural surroundings and the moments shared between companies, we were able to showcase a reality that forms an essential part of our land and our history.
An event created to connect companies and professionals with a sector deeply rooted in our territory: the agri-food industry and everything that happens behind every preserve.
A look back at the origin
The event was created with a clear purpose: to show the value of Navarre’s countryside and everything that happens before a product reaches the table.
Behind every preserve there are farmers, processes, selection and a way of doing things based on respect for both the product and the land.
Attendees discovered how a sector deeply connected to tradition has evolved by embracing innovation, international projection and new ways of connecting with consumers without losing its essence.
Because talking about preserves in Navarre also means talking about landscape, culture and roots.
La Fábrica Vieja and the Museum of Preserves
One of the most special moments of the day took place at the Museum of Preserves, La Fábrica Vieja, the space located inside El Navarrico’s former factory.
There, attendees explored the history of Navarre’s preserving tradition, discovering how the first artisanal productions began and how the sector has evolved to become one of the region’s leading gastronomic references.
The experience offered a close understanding of the process, the origin and the importance that preserving culture still holds in Navarre today. And, of course, there was also time to enjoy the product in the best possible way: sharing it around a table.
Tastings, aperitifs and moments of conversation helped turn the visit into a close, gastronomic and deeply territory-connected experience.
Gastronomy as a meeting point
“Flavours with History” also helped strengthen ties between companies and professionals in a different environment — more human, more experiential.
Throughout the day, conversations, connections and exchanges emerged around shared values: commitment to the territory, the importance of doing things properly and the role gastronomy plays as both a cultural and economic driver.
A vision that perfectly aligns with El Navarrico’s philosophy and its commitment to continuing to bring Navarre’s gastronomic culture to new audiences.
Sharing in order to keep building
At El Navarrico, we would like to thank Fundación Osasuna, the Club de Empresas and all the people and companies who joined us during this experience.
Encounters like this demonstrate that gastronomy can become a powerful tool for sharing knowledge, building community and celebrating who we are.
Because behind every preserve there is much more than a product.
There is history, people and a way of understanding the land that deserves to keep being told.
